Guiding / Tour Leading

While often overlooked, the quality of your guide/tour leader is the most vital component when on tour in challenging environments.  A guide who has the extensive contacts, knowledge and know how is essential.  Aside from ensuring that the logistics of the program are carried out safely and in a timely fashion, an experienced guide can call upon their extensive contacts and juggle a program at a moment’s notice if necessary.   Brid’ in-depth knowledge of the Arabian Peninsula, its history, geography, landscape, people, culture, flora and fauna come to the fore when you travel with her.  As a collector, her knowledge of Bedouin jewelry is rarely equaled.  This expertise also came to the fore in Yemen when working with the History Channel on the Queen of Sheba documentary and in Iran when facilitating the documentary of the Quashqai nomads for Crossing the Line Films having successfully won awards in both Europe and the US and aired by National Geographic, titled “Last Chance Journeys Iran.”

Brid’s experience leading cultural, exploratory and Alumni groups since the 1990’s has positioned herself in the region to create extraordinary journeys in the tourism field in the Arabian Peninsula.
